An angel explains to John his mysterious vision:
“One of the seven angels that had the seven bowls came to speak to me, and said, 'Come here and I will show you the punishment of the great prostitute who is enthroned beside abundant waters, with whom all the kings of the earth have prostituted themselves, and who has made all the population of the world drunk with the wine of her adultery.”
†Revelation 17:1-2 – New Jerusalem Bible (NJB)
“The woman you saw is the great city which has authority over all the rulers on earth.”
†Revelation 17:18 – New Jerusalem Bible (NJB)
“The angel continued, 'The waters you saw, beside which the prostitute was sitting, are all the peoples, the populations, the nations and the languages. But the ten horns and the beast will turn against the prostitute, and tear off her clothes and leave her stark naked; then they will eat her flesh and burn the remains in the fire.”
†Revelation 17:15-16 – New Jerusalem Bible (NJB)
“The ten horns which you saw are TEN KINGS who have not yet been given their royal power but will have royal authority only for a single hour and in association with the beast. They are all of one mind in putting their strength and their powers at the beast's disposal”
†Revelation 17:12-13 – New Jerusalem Bible (NJB)
At the dawn of a third world war, there is still time to change your vision and take the narrow path to life...
Some passages of Bible are revealing with regard to the apocalyptic scenario and can indeed help us to recognize the signs of the entry into the end times. This is the case with the vision of Jacob's scale, an image taken from John's gospel:
“In all truth I tell you, you will see heaven open and the angels of God ascending and descending over the Son of man.”
†John 1:51 – New Jerusalem Bible (NJB)
You who actively seek the Truth without knowing which way to go in this world of darkness†, you may not have arrived here, on the Jacob's Ladder site, by chance: what if God had heard your prayers?
† John 12:35 – New Jerusalem Bible (NJB)
But "here" is not the place where the truth is found because Jesus said that his kingdom was not of this world. Indeed, this site is like a signpost that will guide you towards this revelation awaited for more than 2000 years.
“And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.”
†Luke 17:20-21 – King James Bible (version KJV)
It is the Word of God spoken through Jesus that must be understood to access the "kingdom"; only, to understand it, the Bible, the book containing his written Word, must be explained. As anyone on this planet can see, we are currently living in an era of great upheaval. Jesus called it the Great Affliction†, this evil generation††,where the precepts of man††† are taught in an excessive way while denying God openly and slyly.
†Matthew 24:21 – King James Bible (version KJV)
††Matthew 12:43-45 – King James Bible (version KJV)
†††Mark 7:6-7 or Matthew 15:8-9 – King James Bible (version KJV)
Where God's holy teaching is modified to satisfy selfish interests. Because of the blurring of his word and the active opposition of all those who do not want God's purpose to be realized, you must redouble your courage and efforts in your quest for the truth. You will then understand why the Word is "sealed". People are lost in this prison without locks †, even if some people do everything they can to sincerely love God whatever they no longer understand anything and risk losing confidence. It is therefore urgent in this time of great distress†† that the Word of God be "open" and revealed to the world.
†Wisdom 17:16 – New Jerusalem Bible (NJB)
††Matthew 24:21 – King James Bible (version KJV)
Thus, in response to the imminent danger we all face, God shakes the world like a fig tree to alert those who invoke His Name. The signs are more and more numerous and no creature on earth can deny that the world in which we live is in great upheaval. It is certain that it is alluded to in this prophecy written in Luke's Gospel:
“And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.”
†Luke 21:25-26 – King James Bible (version KJV)
All this is not new; if you follow the news a little bit, you have learned that the powers of the heavens are shaken. The stars are obscured by pollution, climate change, turbulent seas, tornadoes and hurricanes are all undeniable signs.
And what about this sign?
“And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.”
†Luke 21:27-28 – King James Bible (version KJV)
To understand what "a cloud" (of heaven) represents in the language of the men of our generation, in accordance with the last quotation, we must logically use one of the tools of this world. If you search for the meaning of the word "cloud" in the field of computing, you will see that this term is used to designate the most powerful communication tool in the world: the Internet!
Indeed, the cloud is the image generally used in the computer world to symbolize the Internet :

In other words: it is written that the Son of Man must come through the Internet (in the cloud).
So at this moment you are in the "clouds", on the site of Jacob's scale. But this scale is only a tool, a signpost to guide you and climb up the clouds to meet the Lord in the air†.
†1 Thessalonians 4:17 – King James Bible (version KJV)
“And Jacob awaked out of his sleep, and he said, Surely the LORD is in this place; and I knew it not. And he was afraid, and said, How dreadful is this place! this is none other but the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.”
†Genesis 28:16-17 – King James Bible (version KJV)
“And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God.”
†Luke 13:29 – King James Bible (version KJV)
